Vista System Wins Design Award

Vista System International, Sarasota, Fla., a leader in modular curved frame technology, has recently won the prestigious 2011 ADEX Platinum Award recognizing the design its innovative Laser Cut Pictogram system.
The Award for Design Excellence (ADEX) is organized by Design Journal, an international trade magazine for interior designers, architects and facility managers. The application that won the award was designed by Vista System R&D for an airport terminal project, and features a Laser Cut Pictogram add-on that can be attached to any Vista System sign frame. The product was selected “for its superior product design and quality,” according to the ADEX write-up.
Vista System’s laser cut pictogram series demonstrates the flexibility of MCFT (Modular Curved Frame Technology), according to Vista. The client chooses any icon or logo to be featured, either previously produced or custom designed. The chosen design is then laser cut from an aluminum sheet and attached to the appropriate sign extrusion.
