Advanced Power Components (APC) is to hold a workshop on digital signage and kiosks next month, which it states has been developed to 'empower' its attendees to make informed decisions about the technology available. The event will take place at Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes, UK on September 21st.
The workshop will feature technical specialists who will seek to answer questions such as 'What exactly is digital signage?' and 'Is digital signage the correct choice for you?', and to educate visitors about the different options regarding hardware and software, and signage and kiosks. Aspects of the market including touchscreens, media players, kiosk PC solutions and software will be explained and discussed.
"APC's Information Kiosk and Digital Signage Workshop will give a hands-on experience with associated hardware and software, enabling informed decisions to be made for future designs or installations," says Justin Coleman, business development manager, APC Displays+.
Carl McGregor, sales manager at Melford Electronics, attended a previous event. He comments: "The APC digital signage open day offered a relaxed and informative event with presentations from OEMs of 'new to industry' software and hardware. A good cross-section of attendees from different markets ensured a most valuable and enjoyable networking event."
