The recent Sign trade fair in Brazil, co-located with Serigrafia and FutureTextil, experienced an eleven percent rise in visitor numbers compared to 2010 figures, its organiser has revealed. The three-pronged graphic arts show was acquired by the Brazilian arm of Informa Exhibitions – the team behind the UK's Ipex print industry show – earlier this summer.

The exhibition took place in S?o Paulo, Brazil from July 20th to 23rd and was attended by over 45,000 visitors from South and Central America. Some 450 exhibitors took part, including HP and Océ.

"The increase in visitor numbers at this year's Serigrafia, Sign and FutureTextil demonstrates both the strength of the Latin American market and the trust that visitors and exhibitors alike place in the Ipex brand," says Trevor Crawford, director of the print group at Informa Exhibitions.

"We believe that the success of this year's show places us in an even stronger position to ensure the long-term development of the show and to provide exhibitors and visitors from the wide-format, signage, digital imaging and textile sectors throughout Latin [America] with an unrivalled wide-format exhibition experience."
