Spectators at the RFL Carnegie Cup final, taking place at Wembley Stadium, London, UK tomorrow (August 27th), will be able to interact with the site's 13 x 8m digital screen using a new Screach app from Screenreach installed on their smartphones.
During half-time at the game between Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors, fans will be invited to answer questions relating to famous rugby clips shown on the screen, choosing from multiple-choice answers available on the Screach app. Two winners, who will be selected based on the accuracy and speed of their answers, will then see their Facebook profiles displayed on the screen. All those who take part in the interactive quiz will also be in with the chance of winning a prize.
"We're very excited to have Screach at one of the world's most famous sporting venues," comments Screenreach. "It's a fantastic example of how interactive technology is changing the digital out-of-home arena and really bringing something innovative and engaging to users.
"Screach is perfect for this kind of environment and is bringing a new level of entertainment to a traditional sporting event."
