SA International has announced that its PhotoPrint, Flexi and FlexiPrint RIPs have all been certified by HP for use with its new Designjet L26500 wide format printer.

SA International's RIPs were rigorously tested for compatibility with the newly-launched L26500  to ensure smooth integration with its printers.

Gudrun Bonte, product manager for Flexi, FlexiPrint and PhotoPrint, said that the three products "not only passed the RIP certification tests, but achieved a perfect rating for premium workflow". "This achievement underlines our mission to have the most easy-to-use RIP products while producing dependable colour," added Bonte.

SA International's RIP software achieved the highest rating possible in all categories of the HP Designjet RIP Certification Programme, including a three-star rating for premium workflow and dual sided printing support.

Other criteria included printing performance, use of an embedded spectrophotometer, media flexibility, printer management and job management.
