Label manufacturer and print solutions provider Anglia Labels has installed a new HP Indigo ws4500 press at its facilities in Suffolk, UK.

The HP Indigo ws4500 is the company's second HP digital press. Its installation has allowed Anglia Labels to expand its range of deliverable packaging solutions and print to different substrates more efficiently, it says.

"The increased length of the HP ws4500, compared to our old press, has allowed us to win new business that we wouldn't have been able to compete for previously. This extended ability, together with shrink sleeve printing and the press's white ink capability has provided an opportunity for us to attract new customers as well as offer new services to existing customers," says Ian Woodhead, sales director at Anglia Labels.

Anglia Labels states its aim with the new press is to increase digital production capacity to accommodate 'continuous demand' for rapid delivery and short print runs.

"We wanted to be able to fulfil short run requests, while still maintaining high-quality labels and competitive pricing," says Woodhead. "The HP Indigo ws4500 has enabled us to do this."
