Manufacturer of 'green' digital signage solutions AOpen has won the Partner of the Year award for the fastest growing company in the digital signage industry at Microsoft's Windows Embedded Partner Executive Summit in Taipei, Taiwan.

The award was given to AOpen for its Windows Embedded-based solution, according to the company. AOpen says it develops 'powerful, reliable and green computing solutions' with the insights of 15 years of IT hardware manufacturing.

It adds: "The recognition of the Microsoft Windows Embedded team is of great value to AOpen; it reflects the good co-operation of two great partners."
