Perfect Colours, a London-based value added reseller of large format digital printing solutions, has announced a two-week free trial scheme for HP’s DesignJet L25500 42” printer.

Under the trial scheme, the HP DesignJet L25500 will be delivered to potential customers with a ready-to-go PC and RIP.  Two rolls of HP media and matching pre-installed profiles will also be supplied free-of-charge.  The latex unit simply connects to a normal 13amp plug and is ready to go in a matter of minutes.

The HP DesignJet L25500 series offers a greener solution which HP says delivers unrivalled versatility for the production of a wide range of both outdoor and indoor sign and display applications.  The printer enables sign and display shops to meet all their customers’ needs with one cost-effective device.  It produces high quality output and is able to print onto a broad range of media including most low-cost uncoated media as well as coated media compatible with eco-solvent inks.

The trial offer announced by Perfect Colours excludes the installation of the 42” printer and the ink costs, but installation costs will be refunded if the 42” printer – or the larger 60” model – is purchased following the trial.

According to Jason Burroughs, managing director of Perfect Colours, “This 2-week trial is a great chance for sign and display shops interested in HP’s wide format latex printers to try before they buy.  They will be able to discover for themselves the opportunities that these printers can open up in their own working environments and decide if this is a purchase they want to make.”
