Christinger of Switzerland has become the first PSP world-wide to achieve the PSO/ISO 12647-2 certification on an HP Scitex TJ8350 industrial press, HP has announced. It is the first time Christinger has used the TJ8350 to attempt the certification, which shows that device's output is comparable to offset litho and repeatable.

"With the certified PSO/ISO processes in place, the colour data is standard and the presses calibrated, therefore the results are assured," explains Karlheinz Kaiser, chief executive, Christinger. "The result is independent of who prepared the file or operated the press."
