CGS Publishing Technologies International has announced Leicestershire-based Revolution Transfers has become a CGS reseller in the UK, and will offer packaging proofing and mock-up solutions including Roland DG's VersaUV LEC and VersaCamm VS printer ranges and the ORIS Color Tuner // Web proofing system.

Roland DG states that Revolution Transfers is therefore the first to the proofing market with an end-to-end solution portfolio including an eco-solvent solution that features metallic and white ink functionality – the VersaCamm. Revolution Transfers will also supply materials from CGS.

"The VersaCamm VS printer/cutters feature eco-solvent ink technology that will deliver highly colour accurate proofs," says Jan Edgecombe, managing director of Revolution Transfers.

"However we recognised the included RIP could not fulfil the demanding colour management requirements of the packaging industry.
