International sign-making franchise company Signarama is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Roy Titus and his son Ray used their printing experience to open a sign-making business in a retail space – rather than a less accessible industrial location – in Farmingdale, New York, USA in 1986, Signarama explains.
"We started slow 25 years ago to ensure we built a concept that could be replicated with success in any market," says Ray Titus, founder and United Franchise Group chief executive.
"Our commitment to quality and innovation has allowed us to grow tremendously since then and even though we are the world's largest sign franchise, we continue to offer the local support, individualised attention and small-town dedication to service that any project may need."
Signarama president Jim Tatem adds: "We are extremely proud to celebrate 25 years of hard work with all of our franchisees, their employees, our corporate staff and most importantly, the businesses and communities in which we operate."
Signarama now has over 850 centres in 50 countries world-wide. The company will be holding a celebratory event on December 7th.
