Tekcel CNC Solutions has brought to market a new heavy-duty CNS router, called Tekcel GFX. The machine offers fully integrated routing, registration and cutting tools with an Auto Tool Change function, unlike the bolt-on routing or knife-cutting component systems featured on other products.

As well as CNC routing capabilities designed for use on standard sign substrates including plastics, metals, woods and composites, the Tekcel GFX can also manage cutting and creasing jobs on digitally printed roll and sheet materials, says Tekcel.

Users can switch between routing, bevelling, oscillating knife-cutting, tangential knife-cutting and steered wheel cutting or creasing 'at the touch of a button', the company adds.
