Shiraz Focus V4 features the new Ruby Gallery Wrap

Shiraz Software has updated its suite of RIP solutions, following 'a full-scale rebuild of the underlying architecture'. The new RIP Server, Signature and Focus products have been designed to make production simpler and create higher revenues for its users, says Shiraz.

"Many of the improvements we have made across the whole Shiraz V8 suite came from talking to our customers and finding out what they wanted," says Ramin Shahbazi, business development director, Shiraz Software. "That's how we know that Focus V4 and Signature and Server V8 are offering what users really need: a clean, intuitive and fast interface with the powerful underlying architecture which delivers perfect prints every time."

The improvements to Shiraz V8 include a new Dashboard facility that allows users to switch between frequently used components quickly, a Live Update component for automatic software upgrade checks, and new RIP Buffering and Hyper RIP features to make the print queue more efficient.

Shiraz Server V8 now offers an HPGL/2 engine to support vector and raster file rendering and printing, while Shiraz Signature V8 features image management improvements. Shiraz Focus V4 offers the Ruby Gallery Wrap feature that allows users to arrange images for canvas wraps in a diamond formation.
