IMI Europe 19th Annual European Ink Jet Conference

A complete conference binder and CD package from IMI Europe's 19th Annual European Ink Jet Conference 2011, which includes many of the presentations given at the event, has been made available for €350 (￡300). The conference's top presentation on ink-jet textile printing is also now available for free download.

The conference's top rated speaker was Akiyoshi Ohno, president of Konica Minolta Inkjet Technologies, whose presentation was called 'Inkjet textile printing finally takes off'.

Other speakers included HP's Stephen Goddard who discussed 'the environmental case for ink-jet digital on-demand printing', Agfa Gevaert's Marc Graindourze on 'customisation of ink-jet inks for packaging and decorating', Xerox's Jeffrey Folkins on 'waterless ink-jet high-speed web printing', and MGI Digital Graphic Technology's Edmond Abergel who took on 'a new concept for digital presses'.

The IMI European Ink Jet Conference was held in Barcelona, Spain from November 9th to 11th 2011.
