Watchfire's digital billboards have been deployed for 17 independent operators in Puerto Rico, it says
USA-based Watchfire Digital Outdoor states its products make up 60 percent of the digital billboards now deployed in Puerto Rico, two years after the company entered the Caribbean island's market.
Watchfire states its billboards' strength against extreme weather conditions has made them suitable for installation on Puerto Rico, adding that none of its sites suffered major damage from Hurricane Irene.
"Watchfire is the only manufacturer that fully encapsulates its LED modules in a thick bed of silicone gel, enabling the modules to operate reliably even in the harshest conditions," explains Darrin Friskney, Watchfire director.
