CBS Outdoor helps Londoners take Time Out with digital signage content

Waiting Tube passengers will see entertainment listings via digital XTP screens

 

Sixty CBS Outdoor digital XTP screens deployed in Underground stations in London, UK will display entertainment listings information to commuters over Christmas, following a partnership between CBS Outdoor and the magazine Time Out.

 

Beginning in the middle of December and running into the new year, the Signal TV-devised digital signage campaign will target passengers as they wait for trains with content on theatre, films, exhibitions and events. Viewers are encouraged to make recommendations via Twitter and Facebook, which also appear on the screens.

 

"Our XTP format and network already stands out as the only full motion digital display in London, now it can offer even more relevant and exciting content," states Jason Cotterrell, country director, CBS Outdoor UK.

 

"This campaign brilliantly utilises the unique dwell time of cross-track advertising, providing these urban consumers something genuinely engaging and useful for them on the busy journeys around the capital."
