EFI has announced it has acquired MIS and ERP software provider Alphagraph, based in Essen, Germany. EFI GmbH's managing director Georg Hollenbach will take over the same role at Alphagraph going forward, EFI explains.
"I am very excited by the addition of Alphagraph and their team to EFI," comments Marc Olin, general manager of EFI's Software Applications business unit. "This relationship will allow us an even greater focus on providing the industry a strong and long-term print management product portfolio with the benefit of the Alphagraph team, one of the strongest teams of development, support and implementation staff in Europe."
Alphagraph's solutions include Printy
The deal will see the continued development and sales of Alphagraph's products including Prinance, Printy, Web.Connect, Stratos i. Point, Kreativ.Connect and Shop.Connect to existing customers, but EFI states its focus will remain on developing solutions including EFI Pace and EFI Digital StoreFront. The company adds that it will continue to support Alphagraph users 'for many years into the future'.
"Alphagraph is very enthusiastic about the opportunity to join EFI," adds Norbert Hotze, Alphagraph founder. "Alphagraph will become part of EFI's Software Applications (APPS) portfolio, which generated 44 percent revenue growth during the first nine months of 2011."
