Marking its 75 years of innovation, Durst Phototechnik has celebrated its 75th anniversary at a ceremony which celebrated the company's innovation, creation and new markets. Founded in 1936, Durst has been an innovator in the fields of photographic equipment, enlargers and print development and is one of the few companies in the photographic sector to survive the decline in silver halide technology.  
 
Dusts has become a leader in the high-range inkjet printing sector in graphics and many other markets. After the classic photography period (1936-1995), the company entered the digital photography phase (until 2001) with the introduction of the Lambda, followed by inkjet printing in the graphics sector with the introduction of the first flatbed printer using UV-drying inks.
