Murdoch MacLennan will take over the presidential role for one year
Murdoch MacLennan, chief executive of the Telegraph Media Group, has been appointed president of The Printing Charity for 2012. He will take over the honorary role from Sir Christopher Meyer KCMG on January 1st.
"I am delighted to be involved and do what I can to help this hugely important charity which impacts on the lives of so many in our industry," MacLennan comments.
Stephen Gilbert, chief executive of The Printing Charity, adds: "We're looking forward to working closely with Mr MacLennan to help raise the charity's profile within the printing and publishing industries."
