Wide format printer manufacturer Agfa Graphics, Ridgefield Park, N.J., announces that Primary Color, Costa Mesa, Calif., is the first customer to install a fully automatic :M-Press Tiger that features an inline screen unit and autoloader.
The unit can output 7,388 square feet an hour, including loading and unloading, with no make ready, films or screens. Additionally, the :M-Press Tiger has the flexibility to screen print primers, varnish, spot colors, gold, silver and white without any loss in productivity.

The :M-Press Tiger is the fastest and most versatile digital alternative to traditional screen and lithography printing. Primary Color saw the opportunity to differentiate their business by choosing this high speed configuration and can meet new market demands for economical, high run-length digital printing, says Deborah Hutcheson, director of marketing, Agfa Graphics, North America.

The :M-Press Tiger was jointly developed by Agfa Graphics and screen press maker Thieme to combine the best of screen printing, media handling and digital inkjet technologies. It can be configured with an the inline screen bed and autoloader or these options can be added as business demands grow. The :M-Press Tiger's greyscale printhead technology offers superior reproduction of the finest gradations and vivid solid colors. Instant curing means jobs are ready for finishing immediately after being printed.
