Label Expo Europe 2011, which took place in Brussels, was well received this year. The show, which was attended by about 28,636 visitors from 118 countries focused on two new features, Digital Print Workshop and the Package Printing Zone. Ali Alhashemi Trading Establishment, who participated in the bi-annual event, recounts their experience about the show. G. Jayaprakash, General Manager – Sales & Marketing for the company comments, “At Label Expo we were fortunate enough to generate various important & interesting leads from the Middle East including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and also from Saudi Arabia. The show had a lot of quality visitors, who were genuinely interested in our products.”

Explaining their cooperation with Omet Flexo from Italy, he said, “For Omet it was a good year compared to the previous Label Expo. They had quite a range of innovative product lines including their X-Flex X4 press, which is their new offset product with sleeves in the X-Flex range. Customers found the new register control system ‘Vision’ and ‘Transparent Factory’, the Machine Management System to be really interesting. OMET has, in fact, introduced with this show a new style in communication and has put great attention in making it consistent in every aspect of its participation.”

Explaining more on the X-Fex X4 he said, “The X4 is a totally new press with print cylinders that belongs to the X Flex range. It has an even shorter web path compared to its predecessors and also has low wastage levels. The true revolution resides on the fact that this cost-efficient press is perfect for beginners or low budget converters plus it is user-friendly and safe to operate. ”
