Nigel Toplis, managing director of The Bardon Group, has released a statement on his company's acquisition of the sub-licence of print chain Kall Kwik in the UK and Ireland.

The Bardon Group will manage the newly named New KK Limited as a licensed operation rather than a franchise. Toplis was the managing director of Kall Kwik until 2002.

Kall Kwik will now be known as New KK Ltd

"I have always had a very personal attachment to Kall Kwik and have remained close friends with a number of Kall Kwik franchise owners," states Toplis. "When I was at the company we were very proud of the work we all did in building the Kall Kwik brand and its position as the number one quick printer in the UK.

"To this end, when I was asked to get involved by Kwik Copy Corporation it was something I could not turn down and I believe the arrangement we have reached with all parties lends itself to a new era for Kall Kwik and will lead to a strengthening of the brand in the marketplace."
