Intergraf has announced its support of the EcoPrint 2012 exhibition. The commercial print trade organisation, which represents 23 national printing federations in 20 European countries, states it has a focus on sustainability and provides its members with advice and 'practical tools' to achieve it.
"It makes perfect sense for Intergraf to support EcoPrint 2012," says Intergraf secretary general Beatrice Klose. "EcoPrint is both a unique and inspiring prospect for Intergraf and we are delighted to be a part of it."
EcoPrint 2012 – which will take place on September 26th and 27th in Berlin, Germany – will focus on encouraging discussion and innovation within the print industry on what it means to be sustainable and what that may mean for business, according to Intergraf.
"The issue of sustainability is not confined to any one part of the print industry," adds EcoPrint director Frazer Chesterman.
"EcoPrint 2012 will mark the formation of a new community focused on the biggest single issue facing the industry today, that of sustainability – both ecologically and economically."
