The new Embedded Mini-ITX motherboard KTHM65/mITX from Kontron ships with Windows and Linux systems support

Kontron has launched a new price-performance optimised motherboard with high graphics performance and multi-display support, which it says is suitable for digital signage, as well as gaming and POS applications.

The Kontron Embedded Mini-ITX motherboard KTHM65/mlTX combines elements from various Intel chipsets and core processors, supports external device connection via twelve USB 2.0 ports and connects to storage media through six SATA interfaces and the mini-SATA socket, for connection to high-speed on-board solid state drives.

Kontron says the new motherboard is available with 'comprehensive board support packages' for numerous Windows and Linux operating systems.
