Bordeaux Digital PrintInk, a developer and provider of customer-focused ink solutions for inkjet technologies, printing and the graphic arts industry, will be demonstrating its full product portfolio at Fespa Digital 2012 in Hall 3 on stand E30. Bordeaux’s newest solutions continue to lead the industry’s progression from OEM inks and solutions to fully compatible alternative solutions, offering print customers superb results and reliability, production advantages and lower print costs.
The newest versions of Bordeaux inkjet ink solutions will be highlighted including UV and UV LED ink delivering stunning print quality on rigid and flexible media. With less waste and low energy consumption, this ink fulfills customers’ growing demand for quality and environmentally safer printing solutions.
Bordeaux will also feature a vast portfolio of newly formulated Eco Solvent and Mild Solvent inks (free of Cyclohexanone and NMP) as well as True Solvent inks harmonious with virtually all wide and super-wide format digital printers, printheads and applications. During the show, Bordeaux will run its popular Mix & Match ink solution, demonstrating colour equal to the colour and performance standards of the original OEM ink. This gives customers the option to run the inks alongside existing inks without the need to flush out the previous set or perform new colour profiling. Also on display will be a complete line of solutions for Mimaki including 2-litre bags for the Mimaki Bulk Ink System and the Bordeaux Bulk Ink System with appropriate chips and chip encoder.

A central highlight on the Bordeaux booth will be a unique Chip Encoder solution, developed in partnership with InkonDemand.com. This is a new addition to the Bordeaux family that provides print shops with a simple, convenient and reliable solution to encode cartridge chips and smart cards for most printer models, via the Internet. Bordeaux will show how this breakthrough solution automates standard manual chip encoding tasks, eliminating many of the chip code issues encountered when changing from OEM cartridges to alternative ink cartridges.
New Business Opportunities with UV and Water Based Liquid Coatings
Also at the Bordeaux booth will be Fast-Cure, a new line of 100% solids UV curable coatings for a wide range of applications in the litho and digital printing press intended for document finishing and also PRO-TECK, low VOC water based coatings for vehicle graphic application and sign & banner applications. These new lines extend print service providers portfolio of services enabling them to tap into vertical revenue streams requiring high image enhancement and protection from UV light, abrasion and scratch resistance. The coatings are for use with most solvent and UV curable based inkjet inks.
