BrightSign and signagelive team up to offer digital signage owners range of cloud-based functionality
Digital signage and kiosk control manufacturer BrightSign and cloud-based media delivery solutions provider signagelive have announced a partnership intended to ensure clients of bottom-up compatibility between the company's products.
BrightSign's PC-less digital media players will benefit from cloud-based content design, layout, uploading, scheduling, delivery, playback and reporting provided by software from signagelive, which will be giving live demonstrations of the new solutions at the ISE 2012 event, beginning on January 31st.
The partnership between BrightSign hardware and cloud-based signagelive solutions may benefit digital signage owners in a range of sectors
"For the first time, the BrightSign range of networked devices can be integrated with signagelive to provide a solution that rivals the technical capabilities and stability of more expensive PC-based solutions," says signagelive chief executive Jason Cremins. "It is my belief that our combined offering provides the best price/performance of any digital signage solution available today."
The companies say that by eliminating installation and management complexities by a number of means including removing cables, digital signage owners will benefit from lower deployment time and costs, making solutions suitable for applications in a range of sectors from education to retail.
