Belgian print company Digiforma has commented on its new Inca Onset S20 large-format printer from Fujifilm, installed three months ago. With a family history in packaging and cardboard its traditional material, Digiforma recently started using re-board and is putting its Inca Onset to work on new applications as well as to tackle established work.
Re-board is a 'printable, strong, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective product', explains Fujifilm.
"While we never expected it to be close to full capacity at the start (we are only running it for an hour a day), it completes all of the work that our old printer would take a whole day to do," comments Digiforma managing director Olivier Ceulemans on the Inca Onset. "It's also eliminated the banding problems we'd been experiencing beforehand.
"My aim is to fill the rest of the day with new re-board jobs and with some large-format signage work too – it really has opened up new opportunities for us."
Ceulemans states the company's past output includes exhibition stands, retail design, furniture and graphics for a TV channel. The company is now planning a website where customers can order large-format photographs, puzzles and personalised coffins, says Fujifilm.
