Jan 30 2012 10:38:13 , 1063

Fujifilm will showcase its latest LED UV printer – the Acuity LED 1600 – for the first time in the UK on stand H10 at Sign & Digital UK 2012, (27th – 29th March, NEC, Birmingham, UK).  The LED UV printer will be joined by Fujifilm's new XMF web-to-print system and a wide range of innovative euromedia products.

At the heart of the Fujifilm stand will be the new large format Acuity LED 1600 hybrid printer designed to give exceptional print results in the most environmentally friendly way. Fujifilm’s unique, purpose-designed ink, printheads and curing system work in perfect harmony to give near-photographic results at impressive print speeds.  Although it has the most sophisticated print science behind it, the Acuity LED 1600 is an easy-to-use and highly versatile system that’s equally suitable for an office, studio or workshop, and prints stunning images onto a wide range of roll or rigid media.

Fujifilm will also showcase its newly launched cloud-based web-to-print application, XMF PrintCentre.  The company will be demonstrating how this new web-to-print system can add value to a large format printer’s offering and enable them to create a 24/7 operation.

In addition, Fujifilm will be showcasing the latest additions to its innovative euromedia brand of media for large format printing in a ‘hands-on’ environment, ideal for exploring creative media applications. This comprehensive and versatile range is suitable for water-based, solvent and UV printing, and laminating.

Graham Leeson, marketing communications manager – Graphic Systems, FUJIFILM Europe comments:  “We are very excited to showcase the Acuity LED 1600 for the first time in the UK.  This new machine features the latest advances in LED UV technology, so we will be putting it through its paces to demonstrate its quality, performance and versatility.  The capabilities of the machine for users to explore are immense, and we are confident it will go down a storm with creative large format printers looking to capitalise on the very latest technologies to extend and differentiate their businesses.”
