UK sign-maker The Wild Group has commented on how winning an award at last year's inaugural Sign and Digital UK Awards and Networking Event has impacted its business.

The company won the Best Textile Printing Project prize for its work creating a ship sail promoting the film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, a title The Wild Group's PR and marketing representative Clare Hoar says the team was 'thrilled' to receive.

"Company morale rocketed and the team was proud to receive recognition for all the hard work and impressive projects we've worked on over the years," Hoar adds.

"Since winning the award we have received a lot of coverage in the industry press, this has been great for increasing the company's profile by ranking us as one of the top, most skilled signwriters in the UK. Our team have been specialising in unusual wraps from colour change of high end cars to curved hull shapes and sails for years now and since the award we have gone from strength to strength."

The 2012 Sign and Digital UK Awards and Networking Event will be held on March 28th. The deadline for entries is February 10th.
