HP will exhibit its Indigo digital printing technology at PackTech 2012 later this month with a stand transformed into a 'Digital Supermarket'. The space will contain digitally printed packaging and labels on 'hundreds of consumer products', says HP.
HP customers' label output using HP Indigo WS6600, WS4600 and WS6000 digital presses will be showcased on health and beauty, pharmaceutical and household products and wine bottles at the packaging trade show, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham, UK from February 29th and March 1st.
Packaging printed using HP Indigo presses will be on show at PackTech
"The products that will be on display are inspiring examples of how HP Indigo customers can help brands produce packaging that grabs the consumer's attention, not only due its vibrant print quality but with its creative marketing features too," says Julia Cole, UK and Ireland marketing manager, HP Indigo.
"For example, the HP Digital Supermarket will include items that have been personalised with consumers' images and messages, uploaded via brand websites, printed with HP Indigo presses and delivered to the consumer."
Steve Lakin, sales specialist for HP Indigo, and Label Apeel's managing director Stuart Kellock will also host a discussion on 'Innovation in digital print' at the Packtech and Print Innovations Learnshop on March 1st.
