Following a successful launch at FESPA Americas last year, FESPA says it is 'excited' to take Print Shop Live to this month's FESPA Digital wide-format trade show in Barcelona, Spain. The interactive event aims to demonstrate a variety of printing equipment in a 'real production workflow', accompanied by commentary from manufacturers and experts.
"Technology is still the driver behind many of the opportunities open to wide-format printers. The biggest challenge can be to assess how best to integrate new technology with what they have already to achieve the best outcome for their business," says Duncan MacOwan, head of events and new media, FESPA.
"With Print Shop Live, we'll show how straightforward it can be to seamlessly bring together the different production stages, optimising productivity and operational efficiency across multiple applications to offer the most comprehensive service to customers."
Print Shop Live's pre-press section will feature GMG colour management software and Onyx RIPs and preflighting tools, while technologies including textile printing will be shown on HP, Mutoh and Epson kit and Ilford substrates, and EskoArtwork's Kongberg cutting machines will be used for the finishing end of the workflow.
