Uxbridge-based sign-making firm Display Signs has purchased a new Seiko solvent-based ink-jet wide-format machine from Colourgen, the Seiko ColorPainter W-64S.
Seiko's ColorPainter W-Series is built for a broad range of output and applications according to CWE Solutions, which supplied Display Signs with the W-64S. The W-Series incorporates six high-speed print-heads which offer resolutions up 900dpi while Seiko's triple-drop technology allows the W-Series to print in four-step grey scale.
Display Signs has praised the ColourPainter W-64S's front drying system
"The main benefit of the Seiko W-64S is its reliability and the fact that both CWE Solutions and Colourgen are able to sort out any problems very quickly," says Display Signs sales director Paul Cater. "When we saw the new ColorPainter W-64S, we were confident that it took the technology forward quite significantly and would deliver even higher levels of quality and reliability in a new, faster and more powerful printer. The printer also has an advanced front drying system, which helps ensure print workflows are faster, which allows us to increase production."
The W-Series offers four- and six-colour configurations for various running costs, speeds and image qualities.
