EFI’s Frank Tueckmantel says EcoPrint provides the industry with an ‘exciting’ opportunity to define a path to sustainability.
EFI has announced it is to become a founding exhibitor of sustainable print event EcoPrint, which will make its debut in September. Aimed at driving forward the industry’s definition of sustainable products and services, the show will take place in Berlin from September 26th to 27th later this year. EFI will take its place alongside the likes of Mimaki, HP and Mutoh as the industry looks to get behind the event and boost print’s environmental image.
EcoPrint director, Marcus Timson, said the confirmation of EFI’s involvement is an ‘exciting new development’ for the show.
“EFI is a leading innovator in the print sector and has a unique level of end-to-end management information software and workflow expertise that the EFI team will be sharing with the print community at EcoPrint,” explains Timson.
Vice president of corporate marketing at EFI, Frank Tueckmantel, agrees that the event present an ‘exciting’ opportunity for the company and industry as a whole.
“The EFI portfolio of products is perfectly suited to helping print service providers to reduce waste, improve efficiency and increase profit—the cornerstones of sustainable success,” says Tueckmantel.
The exhibition will be the industry’s first to solely focus on sustainability, with a number of key exhibitors already confirmed and set to demonstrate their green offerings.
