On stand 214, Fisher Textiles will feature new fabrics and print demonstrations at the International Sign Expo, held in Orlando between 22nd and 24th March. The company will have an HP LX850 Latex printer on the stand running print demonstrations on Fisher’s fabric throughout the duration of the show.
Fisher will be collecting PET bottles in a recycling bin within the booth from Unifi, the makers of REPREVE, who supply recycled yarns for Fisher’s Enviro-Tex green fabric line. Enviro-Tex fabrics are made with REPREVE recycled yarns, which are made through a proprietary process using post-industrial and post-consumer waste.
The booth will house a six foot tall lightbox showcasing style GF 8682 Twilite, Fisher’s newest backlit fabric for Dye Sub and UV printing. It is 7.8 oz/yd2, 122" wide, is FR and passes NFPA 701. Other applications include banners and trade show exhibits.
The company will have on hand its other newest fabrics for digital printing including: GF 6640 Poly Canvas, 8.4 oz/yd2, 121 inches, the improved version of GF 6640 Poly Linen for Dye Sub and UV printing. The new version is whiter than the original and passes NFPA 701. It has a soft cotton, linen-like feel, excellent for home furnishing, banner and table cover applications. 1010 Element, 8.5 oz/yd2, 60 inches, is Fisher's newest awning fabric for Dye Sub and UV printing, excellent at withstanding the elements of outdoors. It can also be used for street pole banners and patio furniture. It is very sturdy, whiter and more cost effective than other awning fabrics. It produced excellent results when tested under AATCC test methods for water repellency.
