The75DI's quality control and print inspection system will be Presstek's 'big news' at drupa

Presstek is to exhibit its new offset digital press, the Presstek 75DI, at May's drupa print show in Germany. The 75DI offers a small environmental footprint thanks to waterless technology, chemistry-free imaging on-press and minimum waste from fast run-up, says the manufacturer, as well as 'extreme automation' and high-quality output.

The 75DI will run in a five-colour configuration with in-line aqueous coater, plus the addition of a new quality control and print inspection system which can read the colour bar on each sheet and make adjustments on the fly, detect defects and send feedback to the controller.
