Northprint is set for Harrogate again

Informa have confirmed Northprint 2013 will go ahead, claiming the event is ‘alive and well’ and likely to remain in Harrogate.

“We have just employed a sales manager and we are full steam ahead. It is most likely to again be in Harrogate,” marketing manager of Informa Print Group, Nick Craig Waller, confirmed to Print Monthly.

Speculation had been rife amongst the print community that the event would move from its north-east location to the NEC in Birmingham, in an effort to attract more visitors—although this now seems unlikely to happen.

“We did some research after the show last year and it was inconclusive about whether we should move it,” claims Craig Waller.

He also says plans are already moving along well for the 2013 event, explaining: “We obviously need to re-jig a few things but if you see where we have come from in 2009, it is going well. We already have some forward bookings for next year.”
