Wide-format reseller Perfect Colours has become the first UK supplier to install the new HP Designjet L28500 at Staffordshire-based Print Designs.

Print Designs, a full service print agency specialising in wide-format applications, says the latex machine's green credentials were 'a key factor in its selection'. The L28500 was installed in February this year and Print Designs director Mark Thompson says he is 'delighted' with the purchase.

"The installation of the printer and the support we received from Perfect Colours has been great," comments Thompson. "We have already run fabric and a range of papers through the latex machine and are very pleased with the results. We will use the new latex printer for fabric applications as well as traditional roll-ups and self-adhesive vinyl."
