BrightSign has today released three new HD solid-state digital signage controllers which the company claims 'are more affordable, and have a smaller form factor than ever before'.
The new line includes BrightSign HD120, the basic interactive model which offers simple GPIO interactivity and SD-card updateability; a networked looping model called BrightSign HD220 for networked content updates and live data feeds as well as video playback; and the networked interactive BrightSign HD1020 with GPIO, USB, serial and UDP connections and networked content.
The new BrightSign HD1020 offers interactivity options
Each of the models is supplied with the BrightAuthor PC software to allow digital signage displays to be created, published, managed and monitored.
“We're excited about the new players because they deliver the same robust features, signature reliability and ease of use our customers require, but at prices that are now lower than ever before and on an updated platform that delivers even better media handling capabilities," says Jeff Hastings, BrightSign chief executive. "It's unusual to be able to significantly improve products and, at the same time, reduce the cost, but that's exactly what we've done."
