The confidence and commitment to FESPA Mexico as the region's market leading signage and graphics show is evident, with sales figures revealing that compared to six months ahead of the show in 2011, over three times as much space has been contracted for FESPA Mexico 2012.
The show which will take place from 20-22 September 2012 at the Centro Banamex, Mexico City, has confirmed key exhibitors including Canon, Epson, Fujifilm and Konica Minolta. And has the continued support from Xaar as Global Technology Partner and d.gen as Digital Textile Sponsor.
The theme for FESPA Mexico 2012 is 'keep your business moving' with a campaign visual of a 'trompo' (spin-top) - synonymous in Mexico with dynamism, movement and competition - designed to reflect the need for print solution providers to constantly evolve their print services. Printers visiting the show will come away armed with inspiration and practical tools to help them increase their profit margins and expand their value-add services.
FESPA Mexico Exhibition Manager Michael Ryan comments, "With the national elections coming up in July, political parties throughout Mexico are running their campaigns using print and outdoor advertising; as a result current demand for print and new machinery is high. FESPA Mexico aims to showcase applications to inspire printers for the post election period, so that they continue to develop their service offering."
Michael continues, "Printers are keen to learn about efficiency and becoming more environmentally aware in their business practices, so visitors to the show will have access to a host of features and educational content that will enable them to explore these areas."
FESPA has created an exciting array of visitor features for the show. Print business experts will be delivering valuable insight during the daily Conference Programme with sessions tackling diverse subjects including Planet Friendly Printing, market trends, technology and business building. All seminars are created to help print businesses find ways to secure new business, improve performance and increase their bottom line.
The new Garment Workshop is an evolution of the Screen Print Workshop run in 2011, but will also incorporate content on digital textile printing. The workshop will be an interesting mix of practical demonstrations and presentations focusing on the different elements of garment decoration and printing.
The Wrap Cup Masters Series, a popular attraction last year, returns for another competitive instalment of vehicle decorators showing off their skills and expertise for the chance to be the 2012 Mexico Champion, and compete for their place in the Grand Final at FESPA London 2013.
The FESPA Hall of Fame, seen at FESPA Digital 2012, enables industry professionals to nominate their 'print heroes' in the lead up to FESPA Mexico and onsite at the show. This gallery of leading printers, who can be selected for reasons ranging from contribution to the industry to providing great print service, will count towards the global FESPA Hall of Fame culminating at FESPA 2013 where the overall Global Printer of the Year will be announced.
