Digital signage platform provider Scala has announced that it will showcase new interactive solutions at Screenmedia Expo, taking place at Earls Court on May 16th and 17th. Visitors to the stand who participate in the interactive experience will have the chance to enter a contest to win an iPad.
Using QR code technology through mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, the latest development 'enables organisations to connect to individuals with micro-targeted messaging', says Scala. A number of Scala's other interactive solutions, including Twitter integration and product-specific messaging on screens triggered by a consumer picking up a product, will also show how organisations can 'effectively interact with their target groups'.
"By combining digital signage with complementary technologies and media, like mobile devices and social media, our customers can deliver personalised experiences that communicate the right message at the right time," comments Tom Nix, chief executive of Scala.
Scala will demonstrate its technology using products provided by partners including HP, Sharp Electronics, Christie, Mdina Media, U-Touch, mediaVue, Step4Media and Westbase. Marcy Patzer, senior director of Retail Strategy at Scala, will also give a presentation on 'Using Analytics to Make Your Network Smarter' at Screenmedia Expo.
