EFI has announced 'a significant increase in year-over-year ink sales'

EFI has recorded a 93 percent increase in ink volume for the Jetrion digital label press market in Q1 2012 compared to the same period last year. The manufacturer states this rise is due to label convertors moving to UV-curable digital printing.

"Our new Jetrion 4900 is also encouraging converters to invest in a fully integrated printing and finishing line and the growth in demand for this press is sure to see EFI's UV-curable ink usage continue to rise," comments Sean Skelly, vice-president and general manager, EFI Jetrion.
