EFI has announced that its Fiery workflow solution has been adapted to power Ricoh's new range of Aficio multi-function printers (MFPs). The newly launched Fiery E-5300 and Fiery E-3300 products enable smartphone and tablet users to print directly from their devices.

Fiery E-5300 drives Ricoh Aficio MP C4502, C4502A, C5502 and C5502A models, while Fiery E-3300 supports Aficio MP C3002 and C3502. Combining Fiery software with the finishing capabilities of the Ricoh Aficio series increases productivity, saves time and reduces waste and cost, says EFI.

The software also incorporates Fiery VUE, which allows users to preview their finished document in 3D, and supports mobile printing for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users. It also includes a Fiery Spot-On option for Pantone colour matching.
