Ricoh experienced a high level of footfall and sales orders at this year’s Drupa.
Ricoh has praised the impact of this year’s Drupa after the firm posted record results for the event.
Experiencing heavy footfall from day one, Ricoh saw more attendees visit the stand than at the previous Drupa and recorded sales orders that the firm says ‘increased beyond expectations’. Ricoh recognised the event as the Drupa for change, with more visitors looking at integrating new technologies into their business—with Ricoh offering a range of equipment on its stand to satisfy visitor demand.
“We will remember Drupa 2012 as one that truly considered the future of the printing industry, by looking at print and beyond, where print service providers focused upon increasing the services and value they add to their clients and further bridging the gap between digital and online,” comments executive vice president, head of production business group, Ricoh Europe, Peter Williams.
The firm’s stand featured the Ricoh Innovation Zone, which included technologies to support the future of the industry.
Applications such as clickable paper and 3D printing, which enable operations to take their service beyond traditional print, were demonstrated.
The demand for new technology is continuing to grow as more print companies look to adapt their business for the modern, digital age.
