Intec Printing Solutions has launched a new desktop label printer, in partnership with Canadian manufacturer iSys labels.
The Edge 850 device (pictured) was unveiled at the firm's head offices in Poole, Dorset, attended by local dignitaries and international guests.

“This new short run roll-to-roll label printer is ideal for those wishing to print smaller quantities of their own labels and compliments the existing range of Intec on demand printers,” says managing director of Intec, Ian Melville.

Mark Hopkins, president of iSys, says the device solves the problem of printing short-to-medium run lengths cost efficiently.
“Now customers can print their own labels quickly and efficiently. It will handle both die cut and non-die-cut stock. The Edge also has change-out toner, easy to use software and sets up in just 15 minutes,” adds Hopkins.

Intec will be the sole distributor for the label printer in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and India.
