The Océ Arizona 360 GT printer will have 'star billing' at free-to-attend open days in Scotland organised in conjunction with ZüND and designed to boost business opportunities for printers. The two companies will be combining market-leading leading Océ digital printers and ZüND digital cutting technologies to show attendees how they can streamline workflows, save labour, reduce waste and increase productivity.
Océ, part of the Canon Group, and ZüND will show how these systems can print and cut virtually everything. From rigid substrates up to two inches thick to flexible roll-mounted vinyls, an Océ Arizona Series printer will deliver the same quality results. And the ZüND S3 system can finish nearly anything printed on an Océ Arizona Series printer.
Dominic Fahy, Business Group Director, Océ Display Graphics and Imaging Supplies, says, “Singularly, they are impressive machines that set the standard in the market for quality. But together we’ll be showing how they can help create new innovative applications to drive new business and realise cost savings and productivity improvements. For many years Océ has had a presence in Scotland, which is a very important market, and by showcasing our knowledge and award-winning products we know the industry in Scotland will ultimately benefit. And that’s why we’re happy to share our world-leading expertise in these free events.”
Building on the success of the award-winning Océ Arizona Series platform, the Océ Arizona 360 GT printer offers new print modes designed to boost productivity and even greater application latitude to help increase users’ signage and display business. This model will be combined with the world’s most versatile ZüND S3 digital cutters to help customers profit from a fully integrated, high speed, rock solid cutting solution by increasing workflow speeds, automating finishing and opening doors to new markets.
Derek Joys, Océ UK Display Graphics Programme Manager, adds, “This is the first time the Océ Arizona has been on public display in Scotland. There will also be the chance to watch live demonstrations of the ultimate poster printer Océ ColorWave 600 Poster Printer. This highly productive and cost-effective point-of-purchase (POP) printer changes the way customers create posters and make money from them. They can use it to increase throughput and reduce production costs for quick-turnaround POP materials as well as offload wide format, short-turnaround jobs to a faster, economical digital printer. It enables customers to react faster to competitors’ offers by printing in-house.”
The open days are being held at Systems House, The Alba Campus, Livingston, EH54 7EG between 19th June and 4th July 2012.
