Buckingham-based litho and digital printer BCQ has installed Fujifilm's XMF Workflow which it says has 'efficiency, quality and consistency' across its brochure, magazine and marketing printing work.
"We work in a hybrid environment so we need maximum flexibility across our portfolio with no downtime in the production workflow to ensure we meet our customers' deadlines," explains BCQ chairman Richard Knowles explains.
"What's more, customers expect consistent results regardless of which bit of kit their jobs are printed on, and we need to guarantee colour consistency across all of the different types of work that we do. Furthermore, we need to have the ability to modify artwork without introducing any delays. XMF Workflow has managed to tick all of those boxes."
Allan Bates, pre-media manager at BCQ, adds: "We can now have ten users working efficiently with XMF all at the same time. In addition, thanks to the integral 3D proofing module, we can provide end users with reliable previews of their end products."
