Ricoh is the latest company to confirm its attendance at the inaugural EcoPrint Live exhibition in Berlin later this year. Taking place on 26th and 27th September, EcoPrint Live 2012 is the world’s first event solely dedicated to sustainable print business. In addition to its latest printing technologies, Ricoh will demonstrate its Sustainability Optimisation and Carbon Balanced Printing programmes for the office and commercial printing markets.
Ricoh is recognised around the world as a leader in sustainability. This year it was rated one of the 'Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World' for the eighth time in a row at the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Ricoh’s presence at EcoPrint Live will be among the largest, with a 100m2 space in a prime location at the front of the exhibition and it will also take a seat on the show’s innovators panel.
Marcus Timson, director, EcoPrint, comments “Ricoh is a genuine leader in terms of sustainability and we are delighted to have gained its support. As an enlightened brand that demonstrates through action its commitment to sustainable innovation it is ideally positioned to help drive the sustainable print debate forward. And, as the world’s only exhibition 100 per cent focused on sustainable print, EcoPrint Live 2012 is the perfect platform from which Ricoh can do this.”
Graham Moore, business development director, Ricoh Europe adds, “At Ricoh, we are focused on reducing our environmental impact and on working in partnership with our customers to reduce theirs, so print service providers can print sustainably for their clients. The services we offer also contribute to resource efficiency and cost savings, adding value to our customers’ bottom line. We are looking forward to being part of EcoPrint Live 2012 and sharing these effective ways and best practices with a committed audience at the event.”
