Roland DG 'to get closer' to small-town printers with regional roadshow
Jul 19 2012 09:48:10 , 1202

Roland DG will showcase its machinery, samples and technical support across nine regional centres at a roadshow next month.

Marketing communications manager Anthony McCausland told ProPrint that regional clients were often busy running small businesses and so didn't have time to seek out advice.

"We're just trying to get closer to them because they can't always make it to the big trade shows," he said.

The August-September tour will visit towns in NSW, Victoria and South Australia.

Roland DG said the roadshow will feature its "latest print, cut and engraving technology", including the VersaStudio BN-20 desktop printer-cutter and double white ink configuration for VS series printer-cutters.

Attendees who RSVP online will be able to win a V-CUT 44-inch print trimmer at each stop.

The roadshow will also include the first regional visit of Roland Clinic, which will provide "free technical advice and day-to-day workflow tips and tricks to anyone who needs it, Roland user or not".
