The Mimaki JV33 is a wide-format outdoor-durable ink-jet printer, available in widths of 1.3m and 1.6m and uses Mimaki's eco-solvent or SS21 inks. With production print speeds of between twelve and 18sq m/hr, it offers print service providers the highest levels of print quality with strong production volumes and myriad creative applications, according to exclusive UK and Ireland distributor Hybrid Services.
Offered with a two-year Gold warranty, the printer is supplied with Mimaki's RasterLink Pro RIP software, a powered take-up unit and over 3.5 litres of ink. Customers frequently include a Mimaki CG-FXII wide-format cutter when investing in the printer, which is promoted by Hybrid Services with preferential pricing on a print and cut package.
Suitable for high-quality indoor and outdoor work, the JV33 can produce posters, vehicle wraps, banners, photo-quality canvas prints, decals, back-lit graphics and more. As the natural successor to the popular Mimaki JV3 printer when it was launched, the JV33 has become a reference model in its own right. It has received plaudits from FESPA, SGIA and EDP in recent years, mirrored by the respect it has through its install base, and the commercial opportunities it offers.
"We've seen the new Mimaki hardware ramp up our production since its installation," comments Jamie McMinnis, director of Belfast-based commercial printer, Minprint. "We're delighted that the quality of the output from the JV33 using the SS21 ink allows us to offer a superior product even at higher run speeds."
"We serve a broad range of clients – from small local businesses right through to multinational blue chip companies," he says. "Being able to offer new products from the Mimaki has seen us grow that part of our operation considerably."
With 1,440dpi variable dot output, the ability to run both metallic and white inks in conjunction with vibrant and durable process colour allied to a broad range of printable substrates, the JV33 holds a unique position as a production workhorse that is capable of producing long lasting print at the highest quality.
Mimaki JV33 owners are also part of the only rebate-linked cartridge recycling scheme in the industry – part of Hybrid's approach to 'doing what we can, where we can' when it comes to the environment, it states. The Let's Do More programme provides incentives to customers, giving them a valuable ink rebate in return for handling every aspect of recycling their Mimaki ink cartridges and has proved so successful that earlier this year the landmark of having kept 100,000 cartridges out of landfill was reached.
The Mimaki JV33 is available via Hybrid Services's authorised resellers.
