Videowalls have been deployed across the New-York Historical Society Museum, powered by YCD Multimedia's C-nario Messenger digital signage platform. The digital screens, arranged in totems, rectangular shapes and other 'unique' arrays, provide details on the exhibits and artists featured in the museum as well as wayfinding and price information.

Visitors can see information via the displays at the admission counter, at the entrance to the museum's theatre, next to lifts and other areas.

"The unique shapes and implementation of the videowalls reflect the innovative redesign of the museum, adding modern high-tech elements to traditional displays," says Sam Losar, president of YCD Multimedia USA.

"The visitor-orientated concept of the newly renovated museum uses digital signage as a key communication tool, making a museum visit the best experience possible, while underscoring the museum's support for innovation."

Content for the museum, located in New York City, USA, was created by interactive media designer and developer Unified Field.
